Web Tools & Design Tools
Allaire
|
Homesite by Allaire is definately my web design tool of choice. While you have to be at least
familiar with HTML tags, this product (in my opinion) simply cannot be beat. It is not that
expensive (about $90) and is very versitle. You can download a free evaluation version to try out.

Business Tools

This is a great tool for receiving faxes. E-fax allows you to
receive faxes via your email account. Once you receive the fax, you can view, print, or forward it.
When you sign up for the service you are assigned a fax telephone number. You can then
give this number to your business associates. They send you faxes the same way they would to anyone and
it comes right to your e-mail account. It works terrific and is really easy to set up. Another great
thing about it is that IT'S FREE!!!. If you want, you can sign up for a variety of other services that
may also be very beneficial for a nominal fee (and still a bargain).

Perfect Keyboard
|
This little utility is a fantastic tool, especially if you
do a lot of keyboard work such as returning emails or word processing documents. It is basically
a little program that runs in the backgroud, waiting for something to do. It is similiar to a
macro program. For example, if you are constantly typing "Thank you very much for your order.", you
can set a code, say for example, .ttv and it will copy the phrase into the document you are
currently in. So far, I haven't found anything it won't work with. It's only $19 and well worth
it. They also have other products there which look rather interesting, but I haven't tried
them yet.

Second Copy '97 Backup Software
|
Concerned about backing up your data? Meant to do it
yesterday, but just ran out of time? Come on now...when was the last time you really backed up
your system? or, at least your important files? This software package makes it really easy. It will
even do it unattended, automatically for you. This program has so many options that you will
virtually run out of excuses for not backing up. It costs $29 for a single user version.
